AUDIO CHANNEL
Use this to adjust for the connected speaker systems
DIGITAL OUT
Use tbis to select the digital output's signal format
LPCM (44,1 KHz / 48 kHz)
Use this to set the digtal audio output when playing DVDs
recorded in linear PCM audio
BASS ENHANCER (2 CHANNEL}
Set wbether or not to output audio s gnals from the
subwoofer when playing two-channel audio signals
Use the and cursor buttons to select the desired
setting, then press the ENTER button
{1}When "AUDIO CHANNEL" is selected:

MULTI CHANNEL (Factory default}
Select this for systems in which three or more
speakers are connected
Wben MULTI CHANNEL is set, tbe speaker settings
(SPEAKER CONFIGURATION}, speaker output level
adjustment (CHANNEL LEVEL} and speaker distances
(DELAY TIME) can be set
2 CHANNEL
Select this for systems in wbicb only two speakers
are connected

SPEAKER CONFIGURATION
Use tbis to select the types of the different speakers
CHANNEL LEVEL

DELAY TIME
Use this to set the distance from the d fferent speakers to
the listening position
To exit the SPEAKER SETUP mode
Use the cursor button to se}ect "AUDIO SETUP" t_en press
ENTER button
When "SPEAKER CONFIGURATION" is selected, use the
and cursor buttons to select the speaker to be set then
press the ENTER button
*The type of speaker used for the front speakers, center
speaker, s_bwoofer and surroqnd speakers can be set Use
the and cursor buttons to select the speaker type, then
press the ENTER bqtton
LARGE: Se}ect ins when a large speaker is connected
SMALL: Se}ect ins when a small speaker is connected
NONE: Se}ect ins when no speaker is connected
YES: Se}ect ins when a subwoofer s connected
NO: Se}ect tNs when no subwoofe is connected
When "FILTERrr S se}ected:
ON (Factory default)
Set to "ON" to play sources in the Dolby Digital and PCM
multEchannel modes
OFF
DTS recommended all-channel full band playback setting
(Note that the subwoofer's volume is increased by 5 dB )
Set this to play DVD audio 6-channel sources recorded in
alEchannel full band frequencEes
When "OFF" is Setr the speaker size Es set to "LARGE"
for all the speakers and the subwoofer setting is set to
"YES"
To play this type of software, read the software's
nstructions carefully and make analog connections
Press the RETURN button to return to the "SPEAKER
SETUP" menu
When "CHANNEL LEVEL" s se}ected use the and ¥ cursor
buttons to select the speaker to be ad usted, then use the _ aPd
!b- cHrsor buttons to set the evel
TEST TONE
Use tbe _1 and I_ cursor buttons to select off, 2 seconds, 5
seconds or 10 seconds for the test tone, t_en output the test
tone using the procedure descr bed below
The volume level output from the front speakers (left and right
cbannels}, center speaker, surround speakers (left and rght
channels} and sHbwoofer can be ad usted
The volume level can be adjusted between g and -lg dB in
steps of 1 dB
Press the RETURN button to return to the "SPEAKER
SETUP" menu
